Review: Ancestral Supplements Gave This Endo Warrior Her Life Back! - As a female with endometriosis, my experience is like most women who suffer with this condition - it takes over a decade to get diagnosed and the "treatment" options are just as damaging to the body and mind as the debilitating effects of endo. What I can tell you is that we have assayed other products for bioactive constituents that include relatively delicate peptides like Insulin Like Growth Factor I (IGF I), Transforming Growth Factor ß I (TGFßI) and Cartilage Derived Growth Factor (CDGF). With our gentle freeze-drying process, even these peptides remain intact which is highly suggestive that many other bioactive compounds (that present in like tissue) remain intact as well; across our product line.

**Q: Should I keep these in the fridge?**
A: There's no need to refrigerate any of our products but it won't hurt much either. 

Cold temperatures help food stay fresh longer. The basic idea behind refrigeration is to slow down the activity of microbes (which all food contains) so that it takes longer for the bacteria to spoil the food.

Our products are freeze-dried using a sublimation process to remove the moisture... this type of sublimation dehydration removes 98-99 percent of the moisture content. This leaves virtually no moisture; since microbes (viruses, bacteria, parasites etc) can't survive without moisture, this allows for an ultra pure product profile with a very long shelf life — of course, with no need for additives or preservatives. Studies have shown that freeze dried foods maintain their purity and nutritional value for up to 25 - 30 years! However, to better adhere to our small batch philosophy, we print an expiration date on the bottom of each bottle that is 3 years out from the date of encapsulation and bottling.

Most refrigerators produce higher moisture inside than the outside environment. For this reason, we suggest storing our products in cool, dry area such as a cabinet or cupboard.

After my endo diagnosis and some changes that took place for me - namely surgery to diagnose my endo, removal of my fallopian tubes and taking me off of birth control that I had been on since I was very young to treat "heavy bleeding" but was causing severe side effects - in the aftermath of these biological changes I started to have an even more significant response to histamines. I had never had "allergies" before and cyclically I was now having very severe responses to my environment. As one of those many trials and errors, I started to dabble first with animal fats, as I had learned about my body composition and my ability to digest and break down fats very well. I then transitioned into including small amounts of whole liver and heart from a local farm here in AZ that pasture raises all its meats. While the transition was somewhat difficult simply because I have a digestive system that has never been happy - I persevered through this complete shift from vegetarian/vegan to predominantly carnivore. Through this process, it forced me to dive deep on the bioavailability and "like-for-like" impact of eating animal organs to treat my organs. I have stage 4 endo which means it has spread in my body well beyond my reproductive system which includes an impact on my digestive system and my nervous system, including my vagal nerve. I definitely relied on sources of information that were being shared by the Paul Saladino's of the world, but continued to find myself stuck a bit when it came to a focus specifically on women's health and those conditions that afflict so many of us. After digging and digging, and finding a lot of great reviews of Ancestral Supplements, I was intrigued to keep digging into all of the various options - the most extensive when it comes to desiccated organ supplements. And so I started my journey with just liver supplementation first because my endo can also cause a lot of nausea and I had been struggling to always consume liver in the whole form. Being able to do both - desiccated when needed and whole liver - was a game changer. I had also been rendering down my own suet and trying to incorporate that into my diet, so Ancestral’s tallow was also another great way to supplement without having to consume food in volume when my body was still trying to just heal. Long story short, as a regular consumer of Ancestral Supplements’ liver, thymus, colostrum, intestines, tallow, brain, gallbladder, collagen and pancreas supplements - I have experienced an incredible shift in the levels of pain and frequency that my body feels, a response that many have told me I may never have with my severity of endo. Generally, endo flare ups would put me out for several weeks each month (and yes I know there are only 4 weeks in a month, tragic). Those flare ups have been shorter and more manageable generally. And then there's the mental health benefit - the severe impact of endo and my life experiences have taken a drastic toll on my mental health. I have been diagnosed in the past with PMDD which was very severe when I came off of birth control, although really no better while on it. The "cocktail" of supplements has completely saved my life. When my mental health improved, so did my energy levels. As an always energetic and physically active person, it has been difficult to go through long, extended bouts of no energy - it kills your spirit. But I have found it again, and so quickly. Sustaining through an entire day was not something I could do without pain and exhaustion hitting me and knocking me out by nightfall. Now, I am in control of my energy, my sleep is deliberate and my physical activity is coming back (without the negative effects that endo had prior - I would lose feeling in my legs due to endo flare ups on my nervous system). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Long hauler COVID treatment

I’m posting this review simultaneously under beef organs, thymus, collagen, BTC, lung, bone/marrow, and spleen, since these supplements are working in synergy. I purchased these for a friend of mine who contracted covid in March and had a severe case which almost took her life. She’s been suffering long haul covid ever since. I’m slowly nursing her back to health. Most days she sleeps, and her exhaustion is a constant symptom. She is 62, and before she contracted covid she was in good physical condition, working in retail on her feet full-time and leading a normal life. But now she's exhausted all the time. Her symptoms vary daily, sometimes changing every few hours: tingling in the arms, shortness of breath, pressure on her chest, coughing, dizziness, gastrointestinal upset, you name it and she's got it. She has her good days but they are few and far between. Her PCP up to this point hasn't been much help, not knowing what to do to help her and showing little empathy. Finally, she insisted on seeing specialists. A pulmonologist ordered x-rays of her lungs which revealed severe inflammation deep in her lungs, with water still remaining there. No wonder she has trouble breathing and feels pressure on her chest. The cardiologist told her that her heart sounded good, but he ordered a sonogram and it detected apical septal hypokinesis. She’s wearing a heart monitor for two weeks and will send the data in for analysis. Another diagnosis, another piece of the puzzle. The specialists are discovering that covid has damaged her body in a variety of ways that will take a long time to heal. BTW if you're suffering as a covid long hauler, I highly recommend that you insist on seeing specialists who will run tests to determine if there has been physical damage to your body. Don't settle for having your PCP dismiss your symptoms as something that's in your head, or simply tell you they don't know much about covid and don't know what to do for you. See a pulmonologist, cardiologist, and neurologist. Find out if you have physical damage. My friend only discovered the damage to her body because she insisted on seeing specialists and getting proper testing. The pulmonologist, especially, was well acquainted with covid cases and was most helpful. I ordered these supplements to bolster her fight as she recovers. I got the lung supplement for her lungs, thymus and BTC for her immune system, beef organs and bone/marrow for overall support, and collagen to help with her hair, which started to fall out. She also had a low reading for red blood cells, so I added spleen for her. I also decided to take the supplements myself, but switched out the lung for prostate and I’m not taking spleen. At this point, we’ve both built up to taking 3 capsules daily each of beef organs, thymus, collagen, BTC, and bone/marrow. She’s also taking 3 each of spleen and lung, and I’m taking 3 of prostate. We intend to build slowly to a full dose of 6 capsules each. After a few weeks of slowly building up the doses, my friend has had good results already. Her mood has improved, and she feels more like herself. To me, she *sounds* more like herself: stronger, more positive, and clearer. Her outlook seems to have improved and she’s feeling hopeful, which is a major step forward for her. Her general energy level is up, and she can stand for longer periods of time. She’s able to climb the stairs more easily. Her post-nasal drip has practically disappeared. Her body aches have decreased, and her morning headaches are clearing away quickly. Her insomnia has improved, and she’s sleeping soundly after she falls asleep. Her shortness of breath and chest pressure haven’t changed much but she has noticed improvement. She’s still experiencing various neurological issues: numbness, burning sensations, and an itchiness that has increased slightly. But thankfully, her dizziness has decreased. She’s enthusiastic about the supplements and it’s great to see the improvements she’s already had in such a short time. As for myself, I haven’t felt much difference, other than that my sleep quality has greatly improved. I’m finding it easy to fall asleep and sleep deeply. That alone makes this regimen worthwhile. There are also several small skin issues that are clearing up and disappearing, which is welcome news. I hope I’ll notice more results after I reach full doses and have been on this program long enough for the supplements to make a difference for me. That’s where things stand now. I’m happy she’s responding so well, things look a bit better, and most of all, she feels hopeful that someday she’ll recover. She didn’t think any improvement was possible. It’s been almost eight months since she contracted covid and she’s been struggling as a long hauler. But now she’s found something that seems to be helping. Time will tell, of course.
