Built to support standard navigation protocols, it allows users to determine exact grid locations and read fractional coordinates without relying on satellite power or battery-dependent devices. Optically Clear Lexan Engineering: Manufactured using high-density Lexan resin, this measuring overlay tool offers exceptional optical clarity over complex maps. The material is lightweight yet durable, resisting scratches, chemical exposure, and thermal deformation, ensuring that fine topographic details, contour lines, and chart text beneath remain fully visible. Comprehensive Hybrid Scaling: Front Measurement Interface: Outfitted with independent tracks displaying standard minutes/seconds on one edge and decimal minutes on the opposite border to accommodate different plotting styles. Back Measurement Interface: Calibrated with a metric meter track counter-balanced by an imperial mile indicator for immediate unit translation. Specifications: Material: Transparent High-Density Lexan Polymer Supported Grids: UTM, MGRS, USNG, Latitude/Longitude Application: Geography Education, Orienteering Route Planning, Technical Charting Package Includes: 1 x Map Scale Ruler ## Features - Multi-Grid Coordinate Plotting: Engineered to read and overlay grid coordinates for Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM), Military Grid Reference System (MGRS), and United States National Grid (USNG). - Dual-Sided Chrono Marking: The front side features detailed minutes/seconds (1-second increments) along one edge and decimal minutes (0.05-minute increments) on the other to support diverse notation preferences. - Bi-Unit Distance Scaling: The reverse face is calibrated with metric distance scales in meters (50-meter increments) and imperial distance indicators in miles (0.05-mile increments) for rapid cross-checking. - Rigid Lexan Construction: Manufactured from high-transparency Lexan resin polymer, providing excellent chemical, impact, and heat resistance while maintaining structural flexibility and ease of cleaning. - Polar Convergence Alignment: The flat scale configuration supports diagonal plotting techniques over topographic charts to accurately factor in longitude line convergence near polar regions. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B0CN6TSWL3 | | Brand Name | CYA | | Colour | Clear | | Country Of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (16) 4.4 out of 5 stars | | Item Highlight | Transparent Lexan 1:126,720 map ruler.
