Good adjustable light bar
I ordered this light bar for one of my closets, and I must admit, I works better than I anticipated. The auto-light turns on automatically when I open the door and the white light allows good view of everything. The magnets keep the light in place, so it's easy to pull off and recharge as needed. The lighting on this bar is perfect, but the battery doesn't seem to last very long. I don't know if it's a battery issue, or if it's lighting up in the closet when I don't have it open.

So many different uses...
OK...I'll admit it...I love this style motion sensor light and own several sizes and colors. Guilty as charged. Now this particular model has a bit more limited uses as it doesn't put out as much light as the longer strips (less LED's). I see this one possibly over your keyboard in low light conditions, in the bathroom so as not to totally wake you up in the middle of the night, help you find your house keys, etc. I just also noticed that this particular model has a charging light that turns from red while charging to green when fully charged. That's pretty cool! Great quality build...you're sure to find a use for this one!

Perhaps it has its place to be used but under the cabinet doesn’t appear to be one of those places
The media could not be loaded. There are several things I will mention about this light that make it difficult for me to recommend it. My video shows the problems with motion sensing. I want a light that turns on when I enter the kitchen, not one that makes me wave my hand under the light to respond. I was trying to replace a light that seemed to require charging too frequently, but one of the reasons this light doesn’t require recharging as frequently is because during daylight hours it doesn’t respond to motion and when it is darker, it requires you to literally have your hand under the light. I moved it to a coat closet as this seems to be the only place where it can provide any benefit. Also, I would have ordered the next size up with more LEDs if I had to order again, but with the problems I showed in the video, I wouldn’t order this one or one of the other lights in this series as they simply don’t meet the standard for under cabinet lights.

Comparison of two EZVALO light models
I like motion-activated rechargeable lights for hard-to-wire locations such as small closets, under cabinets, camper vans, workbenches, and even off-grid cabins. They are portable, flexible, and energy efficient. This light is more economical and works well once it is set up, but it is less stylish, and the interface for selecting the mode, color, and brightness requires using two side-by-side buttons.I received two EZVALO rechargeable motion-activated LED lights for review. The first model (EZL2417A, ASIN B0D3BYDSPH) is thicker, shorter, and approximately one-half the price of the second model (LYB-30, ASIN B0CSDBLFXB). Key differences are highlighted in the image of a table. Both offer three color temperatures and settings for motion activated turn-on in dim ambient light conditions and being completely off. Both have adjustable brightness. Both are rechargeable via their USB-C ports and come with white USB-A to USB-C cables that are about the same length as their respective lights. While the three color temperatures for both lights were specified as comparable, I found the first (shorter) model’s low temperature color significantly more yellow than the second model. I prefer warmer, more yellow colors for night-time calm lighting, such as a night-time visit to the bathroom. Pictures of both models for each color setting are provided. The images clearly show the difference in low color temperature (yellower) settings, but at the high color temperature, the lights appeared bluer to my eye than in the image. The first (shorter) model is definitely less sleek than the second model. I measured the thickness of its body as 0.77” (20 mm) and the total maximum thickness including the motion detector (PIR) dome to be 0.92” (23 mm). It has opaque white plastic end caps with a total length nearly the same as the portion that lights up.Both models attach using two magnets. They’ll stick to either the provided mounts or to most metal surfaces, such as a refrigerator. The mounts for the second model have curved ends to help line up the light, while the first model’s mounts are completely flat. The methods for setting the color and operating mode isn’t intuitive for either model. The first (shorter) model has two physical push buttons, one with a power cycle icon for setting the mode and one with a gear icon for setting the color and adjusting brightness. The power button cycles through three settings, off, always on, and motion-activated which initially does a double flash when activated. A short press of the gear button cycles through the three colors, while a long press changes brightness. The range of brightness on the first model appears limited although the included user manual implies this may indicate a low battery charge. The second (longer) model has a single touch sensor that controls mode, color, and brightness. For this model, single short taps turn the light on temporarily then change its color, and finally apparently turn it off temporarily but leave it in motion activated mode. Long pressing the sensor brightens or dims it. And three quick taps turns the light off (completely, ignoring motion) as initially confirmed by two flashes. If you, like Steve Jobs, think one complicated button is better than two less complicated buttons (and maybe that’s true if you can’t see the button under a cabinet, for example) then you’ll appreciate this “simplicity”. And to be clear, a double flash confirms the first model is in motion-activated mode, while a double flash on the second model is its way of saying goodbye, I’m turning completely off.Prior to evaluating these two lights, I purchased a similar one from another seller at a price comparable to the EZL2417A that uses one button to control the modes and has small LEDs to indicate the mode. I prefer that style although its color temperature is not adjustable.

Very sensitive motion detector
I love these under cabinet lights they are such a useful item especially in the kitchen. The motion detector is ultra sensitive and senses movement from 15 feet away and only stays on 20 seconds and then turns off. I personally enjoy the soft warm light but it also gives you the option for the bright white light price, extremely affordable

Magnet isn’t strong
The media could not be loaded. Although the magnets aren’t strong, it works as expected otherwise, it does have 3 choices of color. The brightness isn’t that much difference when dimming and brightening the light. The motion sensor works good, it picks us up when when walk into the kitchen. Charge last a while if not in a high use area. It is great for the space I needed it for. Recommend taking the light down to operate functions, don’t do it while attached.
