I've seen name-brand filters, fresh out of the package, with a full third of the filter material pleats crushed together, requiring a fair amount of time to work loose and massage into shape and re-glue to make them usable. I have yet to see one of these that needed more than pushing a couple of cardboard separators back into place before installation. Fits my furnace where some other brands of the same stated size didn't. Decent price. Bad: Nothing significant. Five stars.
