The straw was a lot longer than what I needed, and I was able to cut it down to size with some scissors with no problem! The product only came in white, so when I got it, I rested it on top of a traffic cone & spraypainted it black with some chalkboard spraypaint to make it match the soap dispenser in my kitchen. I was a little worried the paint would clog or damage the spraying mechanism, but I had nothing to worry about it! It works perfectly! I had a little trouble screwing it on to make it watertight, but after I set the washer on the jar first and then carefully screwed the lid on top of that, I’ve had no problems! My bottle is on its side, and as you can see, no leaks.Pump is junk, sprays weird, but the thread on the lid is universal, so you can use it with any standard sprayer pump (I used a pump from the Dollar Tree). Using to spray kaolin clay on my very young avocado tree to prevent sun burn...
