**Q: How wide is the brim? Not the 8" back flap.**
A: Hi! The brim itself is four inches. My husband loves his so much we just bought my son one. They both have skin cancers - my husband head and face and my son the tops of his ears - now neither one will go out without the hat on. My son even wears his camping, says it's great for hiking and fishing too!

**Q: Is this machine or hand washable?**
A: It is machine washable!  My husband washed his hat in the washing machine and then let it air dry.  The hat held up perfectly!

**Q: I just got the hat and wonder what the two black loops with plastic oval rings are for?**
A: I don't know, I just went at looked at mine and it's the first I noticed them.  I imagine you could hang mosquito netting or something like that from them.  Otherwise, I have no idea.

**Q: what are the clips for on the brim? Face cover? how to order one?**
A: Some hats come with the face/neck cover. Search Amazon for Sun Protective Face Cover.
