I use it on a flagstone floor in kitchen and hall. It's a bit uneven, but the steam jets get right down there and destroy any dirt the dog has brought in! It's so simple to use, providing you follow the instructions. Top Tips: make sure you clean out the waste water reservoir when you have used the device.Or, mark my words when you do, it will stink. Don't use any sort of cleaning fluid or detergent, or anything. Just water. It is a steam cleaner. What's handy is the tray that comes with it. When you've done a clean , a voice will tell (order!) you to place the device in the tray (which is really a drip tray to avoid mess) and let a brush cleaning cycle automatically commence. This sucks the dirt off the roller brush but you can also manually clean it.
