For me they are 'recovery' shoes for taking stresses of my feet. If you do run in them, they are medium soft with a smoothe transition from heel to toe. They do not come with Triathlon laces. I love them and they look better in real life! For sizing, check the Asics website first. A 10.5 UK is an EU 46 not a 45.5 as with other manufacturers.
