I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas - he's 6 foot 4 inches and has (in his words) a very large head, so most beanies are just shy of fitting him. This one gave TONS of room without being too oversized. He put it on his head without stretching it out much (and it molded nicely - not like a loose fitting hat). He's only ever worn plain black, but he was actually a fan of the star. I bought this to wear indoors because it has no brim. It fits snugly but not too tight like wool or synthetic knit caps. I wear it outdoors too, and it's warm enough. The only downside is it takes longer to dry than denim jeans. It is a cellulose-type material and acts like a wad of cotton in the drier.
