They forgot to include a 1/4" UNC screw hole on the exterior surface of this adapter mount (the side where the brand name appears). This would have allowed a perfect mounting place for lenses, small scopes, additional lights, mics, etc, etc to provide enhanced modes and capabilities for the phone camera.Examples of awesome mounting products that could have dearly used that forward facing UNC screw hole:- Lunies Mini Ball Head for HTC VIVE Lighthouses Base Station Camera Camcorder HTC 360 Degree Tripod Adapter Ball Head Camera Mount Holder 1/4 Screw 2Pcs- CAMVATE Super Clamp with 1/4"-20 to 1/4"-20 Screw Converter- Any other mount, device or attachment needing a 1/4" UNC screw hole!!!!Too bad! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall Great - One Design Flaw *by A***L on Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2020* I'm very happy with this product. The build quality is fantastic and it just simply does it's job well. One word of caution though: be careful tightening. The all-metal construction and machine threads are no joke. I'm guessing if one cranked down too hard, they might actually crack their glass.This item does have one design flaw though, the cold shoe. I rarely use mounted accessories so it's not much of an issue for me. But, if you're planning on routinely mounting say, a microphone when filming, you might want to look elsewhere. As designed, the tension screw knob sits directly in front of the mount. The result being that anything placed in the shoe is blocked. See attached pic, it's much easier to show than tell.
