And then there’s the fact that once I began looking, there were cloth and paper types, which I don’t think were even available when I got the vacuum. But apparently there were/are enough of a demand for type 7 bags that rather than of finding them, the issue was of choosing which type and sales lot to choose. After looking through the multitude of offerings available on eBay, I’m glad I thought to see what desertcart had available before deciding. And after looking at ads and getting an idea what these are going for, I initially thought this ads price was a typo. Having come to the personal conclusion that cloth bags were the “premium” bags, or at least typically had the premium price, seeing 20 cloth bags for less than $1 each was exactly the kind of quantity I had in mind for a price I didn’t think possible even for paper bags. Upon receiving them, just like other reviewers, I was impressed by the quality of the materials and workmanship. It’s hard (to me anyway) to judge the absolute working performance of a vacuum bag, but other than not seeing any dust escaping, having seen the thickness and layers of the bag, which is also the filter for these vacs, I’m very confident in its performance compared to the single paper layer of the paper bags. So to me this is one of those where as best I can tell, it’s working great as it’s supposed to and looks like it’s been made to. But in the unlikely event that they only work good rather than great, their price makes it easy to forgive any difference that I’m not personally able to appreciate anyway. There was mention made of the size of these being smaller than OEM bags. Indeed, they are marginally smaller, but with size being a relative attribute, they’re still bigger than bags of a smaller vac. And since I usually like to change bags before they get full and inefficient, this is a non-issue as far as I’m concerned Review: Great for allergy sufferers! - I recently purchased a Bissell Power Force (model 1739) from Walmart and grabbed a 3 pack of the Febreze scented paper bags. By the time the first bag was full and ready for replacement, the inside and outside of my vacuum was covered in a very fine dust. I cleaned the vacuum with a damp rag and put in a new Febreze bag. After using the vacuum a couple more times, I had the same result, so I ordered these bags in hopes of solving my nasty dust problem. I replaced the paper bag with one of these cloth-like Clean Fairy bags after cleaning up the vacuum with a damp rag once again. It's been about a week of daily vacuum use, and the inside AND outside of my machine is still dust free, with no loss of suction! This tells me that these bags hold the fine dust particles INSIDE THE BAG where they belong instead of allowing it to escape into the air. I actually threw away the rest of my Febreze paper bags! I'll be buying these from now on -- as long as they're available, and NEVER going back to the mediocre paper vacuum bags. These are MUCH CHEAPER and MUCH BETTER QUALITY than the expensive brand name bags. Stop searching and just buy these if your vacuum uses Bissell style 7 bags. I’m done with the crappy Walmart OEM style bags. These trap way more fine dirt and dust with no loss of performance to the vacuum. They seem durable and push on the discharge opening just like the original bags and stay secure.
