I'm happy I didn't listen to them lol. I really love this product. I keep it closed in my center console and the amount of scent that comes out is perfect. It doesn't smell unnatural at all, it's very strong if it isn't enclosed but even then if you love floral scents, it's still for you. The only downside is that bees fly around my car more, I think they're trying to pollinate because they smell it too. I've had the product for 2.5 months now and still smell it! It gets to be 100+ degrees in my car on most days so I think this has held up really well. And afterwards, I can clean it out and reuse the mason jar which I love.
