It seemed weirdly difficult to find lamps that had a "T-bone" style set-up - most lamps seem to extend outwards from the arm (if that makes any sense) - so when I found this I was praying that it would work out. Honestly it has been a life-saver. It was very easy to set-up and is both sturdy whilst being easy to adjust when necessary. The design means that the light is spread evenly across my workspace so all corners of my desk are adequately lit. The light is a "white" tone so is definitely perfect for studying/working under. It has two brightness modes - which might be a bit limited for some - but works perfectly for me.
