Review: Simple and Easy - I just got around to using my new CD drive and it does not disappoint. I went on vacation to the Middle East 20 years ago (wouldn't go today) and had taken over 1500 pictures and had burned them to three CDs. Had not seen these pictures in years and now that CD drives are not usually in laptops, I bought this external drive to view my pictures. This external drive was not very expensive so I figured I would try it out on my pictures. It great! It does everything that I need and more. All you have to do is plug it in to the side of your laptop, put your CD in, and up comes the D drive and your pictures. No different than if I had a built in CD player. Great investment!

Plugged it in, downloaded a free video player, and it worked immediately so the "plug and play" concept works well. The eject button on the device itself works, but also can eject via the accessories shortcut on taskbar. It is small so will be easily packed for travel, which is what we bought it for. We are staying at a cabin for a few nights, and the bunkhouse room my sons stay in doesn't have a TV so this portable player paired with my old laptop is an easy (and cheap) solution. Will update if it fails or otherwise disappoints; but, thus far, it's a win.
