I did a test just after the purchase and the pot kept the temperature for almost an hour. it is easy to clean and it looks very stylish. I was looking for something elegant and functional, and this looks like it. The lid doesn't get got as usually in other pots made of steel, so it is a nice thing. And the teapot doesn't drop. What may be a bit of a problem is that the lid not always gets off easily, but this is something to test.
