Not big enough for any shop vac. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Needs to be bigger. *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2018* First impression is that it appears to be very well made. It is made of a cast aluminum alloy with a sandblasted textured (paintable) finish. However it is quite small. The inlet and outlet diameter is 1 1/8" OD. To mount this in the lid of a bucket you would need to drill a opening 3 1/16". I like the fact that the way it mounts would give you a lower profile to the bucket (possibly less tip over) as it's profile is only 2 1/4" high above the lid. Over all height is 7 1/4", 5" extends into the bucket. It is mounted using three 3/16" diameter bolts (not supplied) I really want to like this product but it's overall size is just to small for my purpose. If the manufacturer could scale the product up to where the inlet and outlet diameters were say 2", 4", 6" respectfully, they would have a real winner. In conclusion, for someone who uses tools with smaller diameter dust ports such as palm Sanders or jig saws, I believe this one is a winner. I will give it 4 stars, only because of it's size.
