I like these (and their entire range of garden hose fittings) above any other make including metal versions. They work fine and never leak as always. Just a little expensive but for me, worth every penny.
Review: Gardena try to be awkward - NOTE this is for a flat connection hose not UK standard. The thread on Gardena products are awkward and ultimately different to any other tool, so you can’t mix and match with their accessories. Although this might not be an issue if you’re only using their products, I’ve had a few of their attachments get stuck without creating a seal deeming their parts useless.

I like these (and their entire range of garden hose fittings) above any other make including metal versions. They work fine and never leak as always. NOTE this is for a flat connection hose not UK standard. The thread on Gardena products are awkward and ultimately different to any other tool, so you can’t mix and match with their accessories.
