slug repellent band of copper, 16 meters   
Screw band of copper fabric with mounting material. The package contents is sufficient for approximately 20 sqm bed area. Supplied complete with mounting hardware.  

The band uses the natural aversion of the screw against copper. Snail slime chemically reacts with copper, which is the worm highly unpleasant. Therefore, copper also works very well as a natural slug repellent - no poison use

fantastic product, it saved my sunflowers.  you have to be on the ball though as i put a little copper fence around them, but when you water your flowers the soil moves over your fence, then the slugs and snails get over.  Also my brother has a tree which the snails climb and eat all the leaves.  i wrapped two strips around a put a snail on the trunk to test it out. it totally works. not a single snail crossed over it.

This does its job of keeping snails at bay and would be cheaper in the long run, than using slug pellets.  You do have to keep checking that the plant you are protecting is not being overhung by another plant, as the slugs will use this as a way over.  It is expensive but, I think, worth it.

I have only just started using this product and you do have to remember that snails bury themselves in the earth so the first couple of days you have to remove any that you have trapped in there but since then I have had no more problems. It is very easy to use although it would have been nice if they had supplied a few more stakes.
