The aluminum ramp is sturdy, but not too heavy to handle. IF there is a negative, the small pins that secure the ramp in the upright position really need lanyards to prevent being lost. This is a very simple fix with small pieces of steel fishing leader and crimps! For what you get and the strength it works great. I gave it a 4 star only because it sags quite a bit when you put a load over 200 pounds on it. The quality is really good for the price point and it is easy to assemble. I will say if you have a power tool and an attachment, you will want to use that. It has like 40 little nuts and bolts to attach everything. Took me about an hour to assemble so not too terrible.
