Fitted well and looked great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars 1970 dress *by M***A on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 July 2017* I am normally size 12/14, but ordered size 16/18 and the dress is perfect. The material is ok, would have preferred cotton... but for just wearing it once to a 70th party it was a great purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing 50th party costume *by C***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 August 2020* I bought this dress to wear for my 50th birthday 'bash', this year. As I was born in 1970, I thought this dress would be perfect for my 'bash'. As soon as it arrived I tried it on to make sure it fit and everything was fine, so I hung it up in my wardrobe for a couple of weeks. When the day of the party arrived, I took it to the venue to change into it there and disaster struck - the zipper broke so I was left without a 1970s themed costume to wear. It was a cheap dress, but it would have been nice for the zipper to last at least for one full day's wear! Disappointed! I didn't return the dress, but have bought a new zipper for it in case I go to a fancy dress party again! The dress itself is funky and fun and if I could have worn it, it would have looked great with the 70s style white knee high boots, the little round John Lennon style pink lens glasses and the flower headband! ## Frequently Bought Together - fun shack Groovy Hippie Fancy Dress Women, 60s Fancy Dress for Women, Hippie Costume for Women, Womens Hippie Costume - Hippie Dressing Accessory Set Hippie Glasses and Peace Sign Necklace --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/62947464-hippy-costume-women-halloween-costumes-for-women](https://www.desertcart.us/products/62947464-hippy-costume-women-halloween-costumes-for-women) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
