He never outgrows them, he destroys them. I know he plays footie at break times but I honestly have no idea how he manages to break every pair of shoes he gets (sometimes with a month). So we thought we’d give these a try because of their 12 month guarantee. So far so good, he’s worn them three times so far and they still look just like they did out of the box. I can’t speak for their durabity at this point as he hasn’t had them long enough... but previous shoes have been known to show signs of damage after this period of time so I’m hopeful. I can’t give 5 stars for two reasons: 1). Haven’t had them long enough to provide a proper review. 2) The delivery. Although they were dispatched very quickly and arrived well before the expected due date, the shoes were unceremoniously dumped over my garden gate (in the pouring rain) and into a massive puddle. Thankfully the shoe box itself was wrapped in some very thick clear plastic although that didnt stop the box becoming a bit soggy. The delivery company was DX so I can’t blame Treads however wanted others to be aware of how the shoes may be delivered. Update (after four months of school wear) Without question the best and most durable pair of school shoes I’ve ever bought. They are still in almost perfect condition and after a quick polish today, they look as good as new meaning we don’t have to buy new shoes for the new school year. Amazing and i will definitely be buying again when needed. Review: Hope they eventually make it to school - These shoes look good and sturdy and I’m certain they will be great if the schools ever open again. Just my luck to order these to arrive just before the latest lockdown and by the time we open up again he will have grown out of them.
