Review: Nice retractable pen but it's not really purple - I love the pen but it is most definitely not purple. I thought I was sent a white pen by mistake but there isn't a white pen for sale, it's just a white pen with a teeny tiny HINT of purple (not even close to the photo in the listing). So, that was disappointing but it's a good entry-level fountain pen but it's also a handy everyday use pen for those of us who have "nicer" (ok, more expensive) fountain pens but need something to carry in their pocket or in their purse. I am not a fan of a fine nibs but this one isn't a typical Japanese fine nib, which tend to be super fine. It's smoother than most inexpensive fountain pens and I love that it's retractable. I would buy another one but I can't trust that the blue or pink will actually be blue or pink and not just another white pen with a little dab of those colors.
