Review: Good Product!! - It's actually a good product to my surprise. This review is a bit long, but read on please. I can tell you that this stuff smells exactly like the stuff Koreans and Chinese people use (I'm Korean). When I was a kid, my dad used to use a similar substance on his feet, but he would let his feet soak in a liquid version of it. I never asked him why, I just thought it smelled weird. What I found out about the product: I was a bit skeptical about this patch so I looked this up and found that this is actually a adhesive patch-version of a Chinese herbal foot bath. This is all linked to traditional Chinese medicine where they talk about elemental energies, meridians and stuff like that. I actually studied this medicine practice being interested in alternative health a couple years ago. The basic goal with Chinese medicine is to create balance in the body using specific foods, and meridian(bodily energy channels) manipulating techniques such as acupuncture, massages, and herbs (and other stuff that I don't remember). These methods, if done correctly, will balance the energy in the body causing better health. This herbal foot bath obviously uses herbs for better health. Meridians and energies and elements may sound a bit woowoo, but there is some truth to it. The fact that this medicine practice existed for thousands of years and the fact that alternative medicine is becoming more and more popular these days, shows us that something works. Massages, acupuncture, and herbal supplements are especially popular with top athletes. Conclusion to this paragraph: This is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. It's not a scam like I read in some of the reviews. Using the product: So I never intended to try this out, but I tried it anyways because my friend told me it worked great for her. So I got the package as you can see in the pictures. Comes with 20 patches: 10 are lavender scented and 10 are rose scented. When you open it, it smells like the scent described... plus a little bit vinegary. It's a very light vinegar smell so no problems, you don't smell it when sleeping. So it's a bit weird having a huge patch glued to your foot when you sleep, but I got used to it after a few days. And the more you get used to it, the less you will fidget with it and end up having it fall off your foot. if you toss and turn a lot, just wear a sock over it. Every morning your foot sweats into the patch. Because of the sweat, the ingredients in the patch are moistened and are basically "activated". I found that if you put it on the top of your foot, it doesn't work because the top of your foot doesn't sweat as much as the bottom. So in the morning, you will find the patch a bit sticky and smelly. I would advise having some wet wipes next to your bed so you don't make a trail of smelly footprints to the bathroom. Results: Like I expected, there weren't any dramatic results. I'm a pretty healthy person already because I'm really health conscious. But I did get some benefits: better sleep, waking up feeling a little more energized, cleaner skin. My skin is usually clean, but the past few weeks I've been getting a few pimples here and there because I've been going off my usual healthy diet. But when I was using these patches, the acne was cleaned up almost completely. So, I am satisfied with the results. I absolutely love these foot pads! I know that some people are skeptical of how these could work, but they did for Me! I have multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, and neuropathy in my feet and lower legs. I always have a really hard time getting up and going in the morning. I deal with lots of lower back, leg, and foot pain. Within 30 minutes of putting these pads on my feet I can tell a difference. I honestly couldn't believe it. My legs don't feel as heavy and my feet don't tingle as bad. And to top it off, every night that I wore these, I slept well and woke up, ready to get up, at 5-6am!! That was crazy for Me! I am so buying these again!!! I felt rested and more awake throughout the day. I can't believe they gave me that kind of results. My daughter wore a pair one night, and the next day we compared what our pads looked like. Mine were gooey, green, with lots of sticky gunk. Hers were black but not near as moist. They are dry when you first open them, with no color. I wore mine with socks on to be sure they didn't come off if I tossed and turned. Your feet will be sticky when you take them off, so have a wet rag ready to clean them as soon as you remove them. Definitely ordering more!!
