Huge difference in sound. But do not buy it for $1750, the common price is $799! **Q: How does it compare to the Yamaha P515?** A: P515 is much more "acoustic piano focused", whereas this is more of a keyboard in the portable tradition. 515 has much higher quality action (keys and keybed), feels more like an acoustic piano, and I assume has a better piano sound as well (not sure on that last part). 515 has better speakers as well. If you are primarily interested in playing piano, I would look at the 515. This 670 is more of a jack of all trades. It makes quite a few compromises compared to the 515, but it has a lot more flexibility and functionality. It's also a ton of fun to mess around with the different sounds, rhythms, accompaniaments, etc. If you are looking for an AFFORDABLE digital piano with arranger functions, this is probably the best out there that I have seen. **Q: Can you split the keyboard and play bass with left hand?** A: Yes, you can.
