All the great reviews, so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. The biggest difference I can see when using this unit, is that the PH readings are much more accurate when the water is at different temps. The water is very cold here when it first comes out of the tap. This is when I notice the cheaper meters are very inaccurate. When the water warms up to room temperature, the cheaper units get more accurate. Bottom line; Most gardeners retrieve water from the tap and immediately mix their nutrients. So they don't get accurate readings. The Bluelab unit is WAY more accurate through all temperatures. This way, I get a much more accurate nutrient mix right off the bat, and don't have to worry about PH swings so much after the rez water reaches room temps. The calibration of the unit is very simple and straight forward.
