They adjust easily, are really comfortable with lots of padding, and are lightweight but very strong and stable. The lights are a good addition and any kid would have fun with these roller skates. My recommendation for the size would go one bigger, even if they are slightly too big, they adjust a lot and leave room for extra socks if needed for comfort.
