These adapters are a much better choice than investing on mmcx cables if you don't own many iems with mmcx. I only own 2 iems with mmcx while I own about 30 with 2 pin so it just made sense to go this route. The adapters themselves have a pretty decent build, they are fairly small and don't really bother me while wearing. I would have liked if they were also recessed to fit my ie300 but oh well. I noticed no sound difference with zero audio degradation. I have plenty of 2 pin cables that I can use but none have a nice mic except the mmcx cable.
