The surface of all the pieces has a nice finish. I gave it 4 stars because it isn't foldable ... the best I can see, unless you disasemble it.I realize that all bungie cord trampolines are hard to attach to the frame, and this one was very difficult. Partly because the tool just has one wire to pull with. It is very hard on the hands. Most tools that other trampolines have were U shaped. To help me I added a wire strap with a loop that I could stick my foot into to help pull the bungie, and that let me use both hands to get it over the ball end.The handle if you will be changing the height often you will need to keep the allen wrench close by since the height adjust screw doesn't have a knob for easy undo and tighten.The mat has a nice feel and is large, and the bungies give the trampoline a nice bounce and it is very quiet.
