Review: Best mouse trap ever! 🐀 - This is a seriously cool mouse trap! This thing makes me feel like I’m living in the future. Not only does it look the business but it’s also super easy to setup and provides a tidy, mess free mouse trapping environment. The problem with standard traps is that they can be messy when successfully activated. The problem with sticky traps is that they are effective but awfully cruel and a nightmare if you stand on one or have pets. The problem with humane traps is that mice (in my experience) just don’t use them and even if they did, they can be cruel too if you’re on holiday somewhere and the poor thing is left to starve to death. This trap, then, is the best of all worlds. It’s super easy to setup. You just separate the two compartments and put 4xAA batteries in the left side. You then open the right side (the mouse catching bit) and put a big dollop of peanut butter on the end panel. This, cleverly, has a plastic wall next to it which is perforated with holes to let the mouse sniff the goodness inside! You then click both pieces back together and switch on. When you do this, a green light shows and there is a satisfying buzz/hum to let you know that the electrification mechanism is armed. You then place the box next to a wall in a troublesome area and wait for a curious mouse to sniff the peanut butter, enter the trap and be immediately electrocuted. It’s quick, effective and there’s no mess. If a mouse enters the trap and actives it, the trap flashes a green light on top to let you know that it’s caught something. You can then safely switch it off, dispose of the mouse and wipe out the container ready for re-arming. This thing is seriously cool and works like a dream. After unsuccessfully attempted to remove mice with the other type of traps, this thing attracted and disposed of them straight away. Yes, it’s more expensive than your standard traps but it’s way more effective, much cleaner and you don’t run the risk of causing immense pain to your fingers when the setup process goes wrong! Snap!!! Highly recommended!
Review: Not worth the money - I bought two of these in and placed them upstairs where we'd had several sightings of a mouse. I also set a couple of traditional traps in the garage (where I think the mouse was coming in from). Over the ensuing months, the traps in the garage caught a couple of field mice (definitely not the mouse we'd seen), and our visitor was sighted several times more, until.... he was caught in one of the garage mousetraps. Once I was sure there was no mouse activity, I decided to clean these electronic traps and put them away for future use, and imagine my surprise when I opened them to find no trace of bait. None! Obviously the mouse had helped himself to the bait at some point, with no bad effects. Complete waste of money, and they're not cheap. Very annoyed.

## Features

- 100 percent kill rate
- Kills up to 100 mice per set of fully charged batteries (not included)
- Bevelled columns hold mouse in place for no escapes
- No touch, no see experience
- Removable kill chamber for easy baiting and cleaning

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Light flashing but when I went to empty no mouse caught? What’s going on**
A: Usually means there is a short between the 2 plates. Try cleaning it and remove any substance touching both plates or look and see if there is a manufacture defect with something touching both plates. This how the traps work. When the Mouse touches both plates it sends a current through it killing it. The flashing green light indicates a short. Also I would suggest putting a little bait at the entrance to attract the rodents to the trap.

**Q: Do these come pre-baited? Mine came with peanut butter already in both traps.**
A: My trap, which I started using a week ago, did not come pre-baited. I can only say that in the last week I have captured about 25 mice. I thought I had maybe 5. This has been a process. I started out with catch and release traps. Caught a few, but problem persisted. Read about this trap and it seemed the most humane solution. And I believe it is. Mice have made no noise when killed. And the few I have looked at did not have a pained look.

**Q: When I turn it on a green light flashes and I had never heard a buzz sound, what is wrong?**
A: Nothing is wrong. I do not believe the buzzing sound is very loud. It most likely occurs as a result of the capacitors charging up to a killing voltage. By the way it will not seriously hurt a person adult or child but they will never play with it again if they do set it off. I love these things. Sometimes the Green light does not come on after a kill so check them once a day.
It is important that you put them up against a wall as mice travel along walls.

**Q: Will it harm a cat or its paw?**
A: In My Opinion, This Will NOT Harm A Cat..Or It's Paw..

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mice 1, Us 2, after extra time
*by J***R on 5 December 2019*

A collection of mice moved into the shed and proceeded to tear into everything like an ageing rock star smashing up a hotel room. The mess was indescribable, although I can try - they basically shredded almost everything and what the couldn't shred they used as a toilet. Cleared all the mess out and wanted a trap that would be fast and humane, but which wouldn't muck about. So, on a friend's advice, we got this ... baited with peanut butter and it works a treat. Light didn't flash when making a kill though so still have to check daily but that's a good habit to get into - the only thing that smells worse than a live mouse's pee is a dead mouse. No mess because it doesn't physically injured the mouse, just electrocutes them. No idea on battery life yet as we've not had it long enough, but it does what it claims to, and to all mice in the area I'd just like to say You Have Been Warned - we're kindly folk but if you smash our shed up we're going to war. Capice?
