But never that you like less hair or do it for other health reasons. I got this oil and though it comes with directions to wash it out the next day my skin is so dry I apply it 2-3 times a day and wash my scalp every other day with exfoliating shampoo scrub and within a week my scabs had closed. Within a month the closures are healed and almost all gone. I am glad I made this decision and plan to stay with this oil. There’s this taboo that you shouldn’t put oil or conditioner on your scalp. I can honestly say as an esthetician it’s bs, unless you have an oily scalp. It’s just like any other part of your skin that needs moisture. And usually it’s not recommended bc people want volume and to have “beautiful” hair. But you can’t feel beautiful if you’re not healthy. So for now the “standards” of beauty are taking a backseat and I feel great.
