Review: The best stuff you can get for an ant problem - This is the only product I use for ants. They periodically show up in my kitchen, I'll put a couple drops of this on the provided cardboard squares, and within minutes the entire drop is ringed with ants, almost like petals on a tiny flower. It takes a day or two, but as they carry it back to their nest, it kills off the colony, and within two or three days I've gone from non-stop ants to zero for another year or more.

Enough of the cutting plastic to invite them into the bait- straight out of the bottle just a couple of drops where the trail is coming from ( it is very thick clear liquid) and within about 8 hours the ants have vanished. They swarm to the drops, one ant tells another, and they go back wherever they come from and die. The bottle isn’t huge but just a couple drops is all it takes. I will always keep this handy because any ant trail I find I know this goes to work immediately. * be sure to keep it away from pets- I had to put some drops in an area where my cats frequent, and after I finished I put a large bowl over it for about a week.

A: What would you monitor?  Either the ants eat the bait or something else...either way, you being there or not won't change that.  What you'll miss is the show, where dozens of ants line up around the puddle of bait at the same time for feeding, and then disappear and never return.  It's very interesting!

**Q: Do you have to "keep" repeating use of the ant killer?  Or will it get rid of them and KEEP them away?**
A: In most cases one, maybe two rounds makes them disappear but recently we found a ant home that must be filled with multiple ant families because they just keep coming back for more.  But since we put the bait where they are coming from it is hardly noticeable and once the queens get killed then the colonies will also go away.
