Quality/Durability ***** (5 stars) Duration of use: almost 2yrs First off, all of the other reviews are not lying, this is essentially made out of corrugated plastic. It is light, and yes, if kids were rough-housing inside a built one, chances are walls would come down. That said, I knew this going in and mainly chose this shed because of the dimensions and knowing that it would be placed at a location that is partially underneath an overhang, on a concrete walkway, so not fully exposed to the elements. It was either this or build one myself. I took a chance and so far it has held up well, so I will say durability what I expected from this shed. Ease of Use/Assembly/Install: *** (3 stars) The shed was delivered in 2 large boxes. For "hallow" plastic, it was still heavy, and requires 2 people to maneuver the boxes. It was delivered by desertcart freight, so there were 2 people and fortunately, I was home at the time and able to open the garage door for them to place it inside. When I went to assemble it (in the backyard) rather than move the boxes, I opened it and just shuttled the parts a bit at a time in order to not have to deal with the giant boxes. Assembly was a whole other ordeal. When everyone says that it helps with 2 people, it really does. Unfortunately I didn't have anyone else to help, so doing it myself, it took about 8 hours over a two period. After the first day (about 5hrs), I had the walls up and just put the roof on without screwing it in. Instructions for the most part are ok. Pay attention to the which side is which for each piece, I mistakenly put the roof on with the interior side facing the exterior and had to take it down and switch it. Usefulness/Appearance/Fun Factor: ***** (5 stars) The door to the shed is not oversized, so this limits storing large items like bbq grills or lawn mowers, wheel barrows, etc. There is a lip on the bottom of where the door is, so when the door is open, you must still traverse the large edge before entering the shed. It has been super useful for what I needed it for (storing ladders, tools, outdoor umbrella base, etc.) TIPS: Here are some things additional that I did to make this shed last longer 1. Added plywood to the floor. This is much needed, otherwise it feels like it would be easy to pierce a hole in the floor. 2. Added screen netting to the vents to prevent bugs 3. Used different size backer rod to jam into all the grooves around the roof to make sure critters don't get in. 4. One person could do it but the roof would be hard. Instructions were easy to follow. It looks very nice. It has a really cute style. It is waterproof. The door can be latched. Latch is easy to use and works- with a place for an optional padlock. No funny odors. I expected it to smell like plastic but it didn't. Easily moved if empty. Holds a LOT of full totes stacked high. Negatives Not very secure - you can padlock it but the sides could be cut into with something sharp. It's light so it could blow away during storms here,. (When empty, filling it adds weight.) Vents could let bugs in. I needed a storage shed quickly and no one in my home town had anything! I ordered this on eBay and it was delivered and up in 3 days. My husband helped the guys take it off the truck and we moved it directly onto our truck. It comes in a very large box. Next, he took everything out and set it up by our privacy fence, and checked- everything was there. From that time to the time it was finished was about 2 hours. My son did help- it really helps to do the roof if you have 2 people. Now, it is like a corrugated plastic and it is light, but it looks very nice and while it was light when empty, it wasn't empty long-it's perfect for storing totes of stuff. It holds a lot if you stack them up tall. We checked it before putting anything in it, and it is waterproof. Now, know if someone wanted to get in it, they probably could with just a box cutter assuming they weren't too dumb. Also note, it has vents that are large enough to let roaches in. We put screen up on the inside over the vents to help prevent that. I think it was a good price at under $400 for that much storage that quick. We had thought that we would have someone build us a building, but around here that is easier to think of than to see done- I could not PAY someone to build a building on my hill.
