Rigid, durable and robust, the Life R is designed to enhance your life now and for years into the future Available as fixed front or swing-away, the new Life R has a modular design which means the front of the frame can be changed to increase seat depth, or alter the frame type. This means it’s perfect for growing teenagers and makes it easy to refurbish.Seat height adjustable in seven positions To achieve your preferred seated position, the verticle axle plate has 7 different positions of seat height adjustment. Additionally, the camber has adjustment positions of 1 to 4 degrees - enabling you to adjust the angle of the rear wheels easily - and with no additional parts (only tools).Backrest angle adjustment With the optional angle-adjustable back, the backrest can be adjusted from -12° to +8° (in 4° increments). Lightweight and simple to adjust, it's also provided with a locking system, which secures the folded backrest for portability.Simple and quick to adjust fork angle Optimal driving performance can be achieved by the increased angle range of the castor fork. Simple and quick to adjust, the position of the fork can be set forward, improving the overall stability and driving performance of the chair. Additionally, the 3 different fork sizes (short small, long small and long wide) accomodates varying castor widths, helping you to achieve your correct seat height and match your terrain.Frame options Select the most suitable Life R for you with four different frame types. Choose from three fixed-front frames with integrated footrests and a swing-away frame with removable legrests. Need something a little more active? The Life-R is also available with an optional active 85°, 2 cm inset frame (pictured).
