The pieces have a pleasing weight to them - not too heavy, but they don't feel flimsy either. They come in a nice gift box, which would make them a great housewarming present. For everyday use, they are comfortable and functional. Potential buyers should be aware of the material. This is an 18/0 stainless steel set, which means it contains no nickel, it also means the cutlery is more susceptible to staining and rust spots if left sitting in water or not dried properly after going through the dishwasher. I've noticed a few very faint marks appearing after a wash cycle where they've sat wet for a while. A quick hand-dry solves the problem.
