I needed slow feeders for my two rescue Shelties who inhale their food but also needed them to be slightly raised as one of them has problems with his hips so I don't want to make him have to bend his neck to the floor when he eats. These do the job perfectly and are very easy to clean. ### ⭐⭐ No good as a slow feeding bowl ! *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 September 2019* Lovely bowl feels really expensive and nice height.The reason for 2 stars is I brought to slow down my puppies feeding but the grooves at the bottom of the bowl are not deep enough.The bowl is also small so the food fills above the grooves all together so she can scoff the top load then slows down on the last bit.So it is really no good as a slow feeding bowl but as normal bowl its lovely. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what it says *by S***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 August 2014* This does what it says. The grooves are not that deep so the food at the top of the portion is eaten at warp speed as normal, however, my spaniel has to really work the food that is lower in the bowl. It has certainly slowed him down. I like the fact that the bowl section easily comes out for washing. Overall I think this is well worth the money, does what it says, is well made and easy to clean.
