It's very quiet, and aside from a barely perceptible click when the compressor turns on you wouldn't even know it was running. Great size too. Turns out 7 cubic feet is quite a lot of space while still fitting smoothly in the kitchen. The only problem I have is with the delivery. UPS left it outside of my apartment building and didn't bother reading delivery instructions, which said that I wanted it brought to apartment unit cause it's fairly heavy and bulky, or even bringing it inside the building door. Just left it outside for anyone to steal, and I wasn't able to bring it in until several hours later cause I was busy.
