Review: Nice Pyx for taking Communion to the home bound - We had a collection of Pyx's at my church for people to take Communion to the home bound, but unfortunately they sometimes forget to return them. I bought two of these to leave in the sacristy for the parishioners to use. I was pleasantly surprised how nice they are made, and was very surprised to see they are made in the good old USA. They are large enough for the standard size host and will hold probably about 6 for those who take Communion to multiple people. The catch works well, the lid stays closed until you press the release.

**Q: What is the inside made of?**
A: The inside and outside are one of the same------what you see on the outside is what you see on the inside.  Depending on the number of pills and the type,  it may rattle in your pocket a LITTLE.   If we're going out for supper on a Sat. nite, I just set them in console and then in pocket when going into restaurant.  Plus I like the picture of the cross------the daily heart pills-----tomorrow is not a given for people with heart problems

**Q: Can this hold a rosary?**
A: A rosary with very small beads will probably fit but I am not 100% sure.

**Q: Size of pyx?**
A: There are 4 sizes in that Pyx I don't know which one you are looking at.  Sz1. holds 6-9 host Sz2. holds 12-15. Sz3 holds 20-25 and Sz 4 holds 40-50 hosts.

**Q: how many hosts does this hold?**
A: It is a small pix. I think it would hold about four hosts. I only used it to bring Communion to one or two people.

I wanted to create my own traveling mass kit so that if I'm traveling by back pack or am on vacation I can still take communion on Sundays. This is an excellent little device for that. I'll just have to shop around for hosts that are small enough to fit in it thought its really tiny. It's almost like a pill case size. Slightly bigger if your taking any kind of medication. But it states that it hold 50 so I bought a thing of them that is 10 times its size not understanding the difference. Other than user error. I would highly recommend this product.
