AWESOME - I bought this cymbal as "a beater" so i didn't have to use my Zildjian A Customs when my band hosts an open mic night in town. Other drummers jump up on the kit, so i didn't like the prospect of wear and tear, and potential cracks from hamfisted knuckleheads on my expensive ZAC. i had ZERO expectations about the sound. BOY WAS I SURPRISED!!! This thing sounds crisp and brilliant, and really shines through the sound of a full band. Strikes and chokes sound great. You can even shimmer out on it too, which is usually tough to get good sound out of cheaper cymbals. Sure its brass, so i expected the trash canny clang. NOPE. it sounds like a MUCH MORE expensive cymbal. The price is RIDICULOUS for the quality of sound. (For reference, i'm comparing it against a cymbal that costs $239 on desertcart) I am SO happy with this purchase! if you are a drummer on a budget make this your first purchase.
