**Q: Is 12x12 the inside or outside dimension please?**
A: 12x12 is the size of photo that fits nicely into the frame. The dimensions of the photo that are visible through the glass are 11.5x11.5

A: I bought the 12 inch by 12 inch because I had a foot square photos to frame and they fit perfectly inside with a couple of millimetres or so to spare, I was very pleased with the excellent quality.

I don't normally leave reviews but this product definitely deserves one. I've been looking for this size frame for months and usually they are slightly over or undersized. This frame measurement is absolutely spot on. Its glass and the wood frame feels good quality and solid. It arrived without damage and looks very nice with my print and mount within it. I was hesitant given the price but its absolutely worth it. Highly recommend this product and seller.
