Review: They’re alive! - I was skeptical, but wow. I bought these when all but one of my sea monkeys died. I only used about 1/2 teaspoon of eggs, and I have at least 100 babies now 48 hours later. One hour after adding them to my sea monkey aquarium, I added a heater to get the water to the recommended temp. Left it in overnight and removed next morning. They’re doing great now without the heater. I think it’s mainly needed for the hatching part. I don’t have sea salt as recommended but I read that aquarium salt is good for them, so I’ll add a tiny bit of that later today or tomorrow. These hatched beautifully!

I bought these, set them up for fun in a big container and added some to a sea monkey container. Even with salt water from an aquatic store, with an aerator in the bigger container. I saw life after a day in the big container, turned off the aerator and saw nothing in the small tank. I left for a week. Came back, the big container was nasty and no life. But the small sea monkey one with a little salt water has maturing and babies swimming like crazy! Idk what I did but something worked and my kids love it! Maybe I over did it with the big container and nothing was there to create algae because the other tank had algae built up from the batch that didn’t work from another company. Plus I have so much left in this bag! I would buy them again for sure!

I don't recommend this product—more than 70% of them don't hatch. I've tried several ways to get better results, but these cysts just don't work. Don't waste your money on this product.
