Review: Expensive, but I’m Hoping it’s Worth it. - At first I thought the ‘roses’ were slightly more purple in tone than the picture, but on comparison it’s identical. In any case it’s very attractive & will be a pleasure to use. It seems to be very well made, &, for me the main selling point, the cushion part is generous in size , & firm but flexible; which means that unlike my old one it sits nice & square on the lap, so no more spills.

It's really thoughtfully designed and beautifully constructed; its rounded edges are comfortable for the arms to rest on but cups and plates etc can't slide off. The pattern is tasteful both on the smooth tray surface and the fabric cushioning. My friend says it's the best they've ever had. I love the provenance of it which makes it very special indeed. It's still in absolutely perfect condition and the cushioning is perfect too. A pleasure for my friend to use and for me to have purchased.
