The screws strip easily and had to run to the hardware store for replacements, but I’m happy with the mounting plate, which currently attached to my lathe with a block of wood waiting to be turned into a bowl. Review: Does not mount properly to my Rikon lathe - Similar to the observation of another 1 star reviewer (Fish whisperer, I believe) I had purchased 2 of these faceplates, and NEITHER could be securely mounted to my Rikon lathe; the threads of the faceplate would "bottom out" prior to the end of faceplates contacting the base of the threads on the lathe, and both wobbled.
