Review: Easy to use - I've used this reel a few times now and haven't had any problems. This is a good qualty reel. I've had no issues with tangling or bunching up like on other brands I've used. I am new to bowfishing and have noticed that when reeling in a fish' if I pull in the "clutch" or "tension pully" a little too hard, it makes it a little rough, or harder to reel in. There might be an adjustmant on it, but I have not tried to do that yet. Also it is slightly too large for my hand to reach, I do have smaller hands being a girl, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Overall, its good quality and works very smooth. AMS was recommended to me because of the quality and customer service and it did not disappoint me. I highly recommend

There are no buttons to push before the shot. Unlike most other reels, Retrievers are always ready to shoot. Just draw and shoot!
- Zero Drag - The line is stacked in a bottle rather than wound on a drum or spool so there is no drag on the line when it’s shot. The line freely spools out of the bottle on the shot and on the retrieve just stacks right back in.
- Heavy-Duty Construction - Retrievers can take the abuse of bowfishing and will stand the test of time! Machined brass gears, stainless steel hardware and lightweight, corrosion resistant housing ensure long life in fresh or saltwater. Complete reel weight - 1.25 lbs.

I've used this reel a few times now and haven't had any problems. This is a good qualty reel. I've had no issues with tangling or bunching up like on other brands I've used. I am new to bowfishing and have noticed that when reeling in a fish' if I pull in the "clutch" or "tension pully" a little too hard, it makes it a little rough, or harder to reel in. There might be an adjustmant on it, but I have not tried to do that yet. Also it is slightly too large for my hand to reach, I do have smaller hands being a girl, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. This thing is a beast. 2nd AMS reel i have bought. i like the line on this one better. the reel is smooth and a great buy of the first time shooter or someone that uses it every day. The install is super simple and very strong.
