No problems with see-through fabric for me, but the seam on the crotch stands out a lot and almost looks like I have a camel toe all the time no matter how low I pull the crotch down. The fabric is black and shiny; I wouldn't say soft, more smooth. It's definitely more for style than function! I would love and might get another one because I like how they look and can’t find that kind of style anywhere else. Unless I do.
