I sent a email about the missing capacitor and got a warm response immediately from Lily who just asked for my address which I then provided, and Lily said ok its shipped and that was that good old fashioned customer service you don't really get theses days. I am not even sure if it was Chancs fault that the capacitor was missing all I know was it was missing and they took care of it, I really miss old fashioned customer service I wish desertcart was a little more fluent and less robotic with its problem solving as not every problem is a return but I get why they do it. The motor itself is amazing and the variety of motors they offer is also great! I wanted a synchronous motor for a project that called for a low rpm dc motor and synchronous motor was more appealing to me as I could just plug it into the normal 120v BUT most synchronous motors switch directions with a load as sort of a clutch, or they switch if you turn it on or off to fast this was not acceptable for the project I was working on. That's when I found Chancs and I am glad I did this motor is very powerful and well built and the included capacitor lets you choose when and how you want it to switch to CCW or CW, and as I said earlier they have a wide variety of motors I will check with them first when i need a motor for future projects.
