Featuring a swivel swept BSP tee and detachable nozzle, it offers versatile, multi-fit compatibility with 40mm sink waste pipes. Certified to BS EN 24-1:2002 standards, this lightweight (110g) adaptor ensures reliable, easy installation and efficient drainage, making it an essential upgrade for any contemporary plumbing system. ## Description This multi-fit waste trap adaptor tee offers a versatile, secure, and leak-free solution for connecting appliances and pipes, complying with industry standards. ## Features - Where It Fits: Screws in between a 1Β½" (40mm) kitchen or utility sink waste and the trap. The top nut goes onto the sink waste tail and your trap screws onto the threaded bottom, so the appliance hose drains into the side branch above the trap. Not for bathroom basins, which have a smaller 1ΒΌ" (32mm) waste. - Check You Have Room: The tee is approx. 118mm from the top of the nut to the end of the bottom thread, so your trap will sit up to that much lower than it does now. It is approx. 185mm wide from the edge of the body to the tip of the hose nozzle. Measure the space under your sink before ordering. - Washing Machine and Dishwasher Hose: The hose nozzle on the swept side branch takes a standard washing machine or dishwasher drain hose. The branch swivels so the hose can come in from the direction that suits your unit. - Remove the Nozzle for 40mm Pipe: Take the nozzle off and the side branch connects to 40mm waste pipe instead, for example from a second appliance or a standpipe. - Threaded Connections to BS EN 274-1: The top and bottom are 1Β½" BSP threaded connections, not push-fit, so the tee fits onto a threaded sink waste and trap rather than onto plain pipe. Durable white polypropylene, supplied with sealing washers. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CW9XQSFZ | | Best Sellers Rank | 20,179 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 16 in Traps | | Brand | PlumbEZ | | Colour | White | | Connector Type | Tee | | Country of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars (74) | | Exterior Finish | Plastic | | Included Components | Tee Nozzle, Washer, Waste Trap | | Item Highlight | Fits between a 1 1/2 inch sink waste and trap, removable nozzle, swivel swept tee, BS EN 274-1 | | Manufacturer | Embrass | | Material | Polypropylene | | Model Number | 340760PLUMBEZ | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Part Number | 340295PLUMBEZ | | Set Name | 1 | | Size | 40mm | | Thread Size | 40mm | | Thread Type | BSP | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** PlumbEZ - **Colour:** White - **Connector type:** Tee - **Exterior finish:** Plastic - **Material:** Polypropylene - **Number of Packs:** 1 - **Number of pieces:** 1 - **Size:** 40mm - **Thread size:** 40mm - **Thread type:** BSP ## Images ![40mm Appliance Waste Tee, Washing Machine and Dishwasher Sink Tee - PlumbEZ - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51CPXWnSZxL.jpg) ![40mm Appliance Waste Tee, Washing Machine and Dishwasher Sink Tee - PlumbEZ - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/21mdNEF1tzL.jpg) ![40mm Appliance Waste Tee, Washing Machine and Dishwasher Sink Tee - PlumbEZ - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41J9t1vl5xL.jpg) ![40mm Appliance Waste Tee, Washing Machine and Dishwasher Sink Tee - PlumbEZ - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41Z7v7nS8tL.jpg) ![40mm Appliance Waste Tee, Washing Machine and Dishwasher Sink Tee - PlumbEZ - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41it82WmVYL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - Multi-Fit Waste Trap Adaptor Tee with Nozzle - 40mm 1.1/2"Swivel Swept BSP Tee c/w Nozzle, Dishwasher Waste Pipe Connector, Washing Machine Waste Splitter, BS EN 24-1:2002 Compliant - Merriway, BH01587 Single Appliance Connector for Washing Machine or Dishwasher, White 40mm - 20 Pcs Hose Clips, Leryati Adjustable 6-51mm Set Range Small Hose Pipe Clips Clamps, 304 Stainless Steel Hose Screws Clips Worm Drive Pipe Clamps Clip for Workholding Devices Tube Pipe Clamps- 5 Sizes --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/618161383-40mm-appliance-waste-tee-washing-machine-and-dishwasher-sink-tee](https://www.desertcart.us/products/618161383-40mm-appliance-waste-tee-washing-machine-and-dishwasher-sink-tee) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
