It has a chinstrap to keep it from blowing off in the wind. Size was perfect - looks like it can be easily adjusted for smaller heads. I love it for fishing in the hot sun. When I was in Mexico, one of the local vendors asked me where I got it because they weren't able to find them. I told him I got it on Amazon for $9. He said it makes me look like a tourist. I don't look like a native so I looked like a tourist without it too.
