I've owned two of these (I loaned one out and never got it back!) It is a well-designed, well-constructed, and easy-to-use fermenter for kimchi and sauerkraut. We use this container to make kimchi and it works perfect. I am actually going to order another one to make sauerkraut in. The hole in the divider with the plug in it makes it easy to take all the air out and make sure there isn't air in the food during the fermentation process. We usually used the jars with weights but this container makes it a whole lot easier.
