The popular manufacturer that makes adult pillow and mattress casings did not yet produce one for a crib mattress and I wasn't seeing much else when searching around. I think the other company pointed me to this brand and it worked perfectly. It easily slipped over the bare crib mattress and has provided me piece of mind as the crib is where we found a confirmed bed bug casing (two other family households had bed bugs and we can only surmise we "lucked" out after my M-I-L visited with a lonely bug who could not mate...it has been a year and no other bugs/bug casings sighted).
