Lovely delicate pattern but not too chintzy. All items arrived well packaged. The soup plates are exactly what they state, similar to what you would find in a restaurant, so if you want bowls for cereal although serviceable it probably would be wise to buy some plane white deep bowls for this. The plates are lovely and large, however this doesn't mean you have to have huge portions as the indent is much smaller so you can create some lovely dainty dinner dishes.
